
Gateway Terminals India is the latest container terminal operating at JNPT. The terminal is a joint venture between A.P. Moller Terminals (APMT) and Container Corporation of India (CONCOR). The facility just completed a year of full fledged operations.
APMT is a global container terminal operator, operating 54 terminals in 28 Countries across 5 continents. CONCOR, a Government of India Undertaking under Ministry of Railways, is the single largest provider of containerized rail transport in India, operating a network of more than 58 Inland container depots.
GTI is located strategically at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Nhava Sheva, which presently caters to more than 60 percent of the country’s entire containerized throughput. GTI has signed a license agreement with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) to build and operate for 30 years a state of the art common user container terminal at Nhava Sheva
