Keppel O&M bags $210m in new contracts

Singapore: Keppel Offshore and Marine (Keppel O&M) has clinched two contracts for offshore support vessels worth $210 million.

Keppel O&M unit, Keppel Singmarine, was awarded the first contract for a derrick pipelay vessel by repeat customer Global Offshore International. The vessel is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2011.

The second contract, for a 100-metre Rolls-Royce designed UT 788 CDL ultra-deepwater Multi-Functional Support Vessel (MFSV), was awarded by Lewek Shipping.

It is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2010.  [8/5/08]
